OceanBase Cloud supports two service modes: cluster instance and tenant instance. You can select a service mode based on your business needs.
For more information, see "Create a cluster instance".
After you create an instance, you can log in to the OceanBase Cloud console and view the details about the instance.
For more information, see "Instance overview".
After you purchase a cluster instance, you need to create a tenant.
For more information, see "Create a tenant".
After you create a cluster instance, you must create a database if you are using a MySQL tenant. Skip this step if you are using an Oracle tenant.
For more information, see "Create a database in MySQL mode".
When you create an account in a MySQL tenant, you can associate the account with multiple databases. When you create an account in an Oracle tenant, the account only has privileges of the corresponding schema.
For more information, see "Create an account".
After you add an IP address to the allowlist of a tenant, this IP address can be used to access the tenant.
For more information, see "Configure the allowlist of IP addresses".
OceanBase Cloud allows you to connect to a database by using public or private connectivity.
For more information, see "Configure a database network connection".
OceanBase Cloud allows you to connect to a database by using a client or driver. You can select a connection tool based on the actual situation.
