This topic describes how to create and manage compute nodes in OceanBase Cloud.
You can use compute nodes to efficiently allocate computing resources such as CPU and memory to tasks in your workflows, thereby ensuring stable operation of these tasks.
Create a compute node
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Development > Workspaces > Manage Compute Node.
On the Compute Node Pool page, click Create Compute Node.
On the Create Compute Node page, specify the cloud service provider, region, and resource name, and click Place Order.
On the Compute Node Pool page, you can find the created compute node in the list.
View compute node information
On the Compute Node Pool page shown in the preceding figure, click the More icon in the Actions column and select Details. On the page that appears, view the basic information, CPU utilization, memory usage, and associated workflows of the compute node.
On the Compute Node Pool page, click the More icon in the Actions column and select Release to release the compute node.
