This topic describes how to manage data sources in OceanBase Cloud.
View a data source
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Services > Data Sources.
The Data Sources page displays all existing data sources and their basic information, including the data source name and type, connection information, account, cloud vendor, region, update time, and status. You can perform the following operations in the Actions column:
Test connectivity: Click Test Connection to check the network connection of the database.
Copy a data source: Click Copy. In the Copy Data Source dialog box, configure the parameters.
Edit a data source: Click Edit. In the Edit Data Source dialog box, configure the parameters.
Delete a data source: Click Delete. In the dialog box that appears, click Delete.
On the Data Sources page, view details about the target data source.
You can filter data sources by type, cloud vendor, region, or status, or enter a keyword in the search box in the upper-right corner to search for a data source through fuzzy match.
Click the name of the target data source and view its details in the right-side pane.
Copy a data source
Access the Data Sources page.
On the Data Sources page, click the ... icon in the Actions column of the target data source and then select Copy.

In the Copy Data Source dialog box, configuration information of the copied data source is automatically populated to quickly create a new data source.
Except for the data source type, you can modify the configuration information as needed. For more information about the configuration parameters, see Create a data source.
Click Test Connection.
After the test succeeds, click Save.
Edit a data source
Access the Data Sources page.
On the Data Sources page, click the ... icon in the Actions column of the target data source and then select Edit.
In the Edit Data Source dialog box, modify parameters as needed.
Notice
The data source edit operation takes effect only for newly created data migration tasks, and does not affect existing tasks.
For more information about the configuration parameters, see Create a data source. The following table describes the configuration information that can be modified for different types of data sources.

After the test succeeds, click Save.
Delete a data source
If a database connected to a data source no longer exists or will no longer be accessed, you can delete the current connection configurations. This operation does not affect your database or tasks that are using the database for data migration.
Access the Data Sources page.
On the Data Sources page, click the ... icon in the Actions column of the target data source and then select Delete.
In the dialog box that appears, click Delete.
