Dear OceanBase Cloud users,
To further improve service quality and system stability, the OceanBase team plans to upgrade the underlying components of proxy clusters from September 2 to September 23, 2026 (UTC+8). This upgrade covers five Alibaba Cloud regions. The schedule is as follows:

The underlying infrastructure components that host the proxy clusters will be optimized and upgraded.
Impact and recommendations
This upgrade may affect the proxy clusters associated with OceanBase clusters deployed in the five Alibaba Cloud regions listed above. Under normal circumstances, the upgrade is not expected to affect your applications. However, there is a very low probability of brief connection interruptions. Such interruptions should have minimal impact on applications that use persistent connections and have automatic reconnection enabled.
To ensure business continuity, we strongly recommend that you review and optimize your applications' reconnection and retry mechanisms in advance to improve fault tolerance.
