This topic provides instructions on viewing project information, creating new projects, configuring projects, and deleting projects.
Prerequisites
- Operations such as creating new projects, creating instances, configuring projects, and deleting projects can only be performed by organization admins and project admins.
- Operations to view project information can be performed by project admins, instance admins, and project members.
Create a project
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
Click your organization at the top of the page, and then click Manage Organization.

Click Projects in the left-side navigation pane, and click Create Project in the upper right corner of the page.
Enter the project name and click OK.
After creating a project, click the project name to enter the instance list and create instances. For detailed instructions on creating instances, refer to Create an instance.
View project information
After creating the project, you can view the detailed information on the project list page, including project name, project ID, number of instances and members in the project, etc.

| Number of Instances | Displays the number of instances in the current project. |
| Number of Members | Displays the number of members in the current project. |

Configure the project
After creating the project, click Configure Project in the Actions column of the target project to view the details of the project and update the configurations of the project.
Click the Instances tab to navigate to the instance list of the project. You can change the project that an instance belongs to by clicking Change Project in the Actions column of the target instance.
Click the Members tab to view the list of members in this project. You can click Invite Member to invite users to join the project and assign different roles to users according to your needs. For permissions associated with different roles, refer to Role permissions.
Click Remove in the Actions column of the target members to remove them from the project.
Delete the project
When there are no instances in the project or all instances have been switched to other projects, you can click Delete in the Actions column of the target project to delete the project.
