Features
Filter tenants or nodes
You can filter multiple tenants or nodes by selecting the tenants or nodes from the drop-down list and view the monitoring data of the specified targets.
In the monitoring chart of multiple tenants or nodes, you can click the name of a tenant or node in the chart to display or hide its monitoring information.
Auto-refresh
Click the drop-down list next to Auto Refresh at the top of the page and select 15s, 30s, or 60s to set the auto-refresh frequency for monitoring. If you select Disable, monitoring data will not be auto-refreshed.
Sampling frequency
Click the drop-down list next to Period at the top of the page to set the sampling frequency for monitoring, which determines the interval for data collection.
Note
Some metrics do not support second-level sampling frequency. You can view this information in the ? next to the 5s option.
Chart layout
Click the drop-down list next to Chart Layout at the top of the page and select the desired pattern to change the layout of the current monitoring panel.
Time period comparison
Enable the Compare Time Ranges switch in the upper right corner to view comparisons of monitoring data for specified time periods. The solid line represents the baseline period data, and the dashed line represents the comparison period data.
After setting the baseline period, you can quickly locate and compare time periods using the Previous Period, Same Period Yesterday, or Same Period Last Week buttons. You can also manually edit the desired comparison periods.
Link charts
Enable the Link Charts switch in the upper right corner. When you hover the pointer over the monitoring chart, it will simultaneously display the monitoring data of the same time period in other charts.
Go to diagnostics
The diagnostics feature for instance monitoring allows you to quickly diagnose a single tenant and navigate to the diagnostics results for that tenant and time period.
You can click the Go to Diagnostics icon in the monitoring chart to select the target tenant and view its diagnostics results.
Drill-down
The drill-down feature can only be used by a single tenant or node. The drill-down icon is hidden when multiple user or nodes are selected.
After you select a tenant or node, you can click the drill-down icon in the chart to view the sub-metrics of the metric.
Manage alert rules
You can click Create Alert Rule or View Alert Rule in the upper-right corner to perform corresponding operations on alert rules. For more information, refer to Create an alert rule and View an alert rule.
Customize a dashboard
You can click Create Custom Dashboard in the upper-right corner and then select a tenant and configure metrics for the custom monitoring dashboard. For more information, refer to Customize a monitoring dashboard for an instance.
