This topic describes how OceanBase Cloud monitors alerts and sends notifications when an error is detected in an OceanBase instance or application.
Background information
OceanBase Cloud provides alerting and monitoring services for OceanBase instances and their resources so that you can detect business operation failures and resource shortages as soon as possible.
The Alert Management page provides the following tabs:
- Overview: displays alert statistics and provides an operation guide.
- Alert Rules: allows you to create an alert rule by using preset alert conditions and logics for the system to monitor specific metrics or events. When the preset condition is met, an alert notification is triggered.
- Alert History: displays a list of all triggered alerts and their details.
- Alert Template: allows you to create a template of alert rules. This way, you can use the template to quickly configure an alert rule.
- Alert Muting: allows you to set rules or strategies to prevent the system from generating alerts or sending alert notifications for the specified targets.
- Alert Contacts: maintains the information of alert contacts.
