In OceanBase Cloud, you can create alert rules and specify alert targets for each rule.
Procedure
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.
On the page that appears, click the Alert Rules tab.
On the Alert Rules tab, click Create Alert Rule.
Configure the alert rule.
Rule configuration.
ParameterDescriptionRule Name The name of the alert rule. Alert Target Type Select the alert target type: Instance, Tenant, or Data Migration. Different alert target types correspond to different available alert metrics. - If the alert target type is Instance, you can select one or more transactional instances, analytical instances, or Key-Value instances.
- If the alert target type is Tenant, you can select one or more tenants under a transactional instance or Key-Value instance as the alert target.
- If the alert target type is Data Migration, you can select a data migration task as the alert target.
Alert Type - Metric: Configure Alert Trigger Condition, Alert Metric, Alert Cycle, and Alert Frequency.
- Event: Configure Alert Event and Alert Frequency.
Configuration Method - Custom: Add custom metrics as needed to configure the alert rule.
- Use Template: Use an existing template to quickly configure the alert rule. For information about how to create a trigger condition template, see Create a trigger condition template.
Alert Trigger Timing Select the operation mode for multiple metrics. You can choose Meet Any Condition or Meet All Conditions. Alert Metric Select an alert metric from the Alert Metric drop-down list. For details about the meanings of the metrics, see Monitoring metrics for custom alerts.
Set the condition for the metric in the Comparison Value, Operator, and Threshold drop-down lists.Add Metric Click Add to add multiple metrics to the alert. The system will evaluate the results of the operations on these metrics based on the selected trigger timing. Alert Cycle Specify the alert detection cycle. The system periodically checks whether the alert meets the trigger conditions. The default detection cycle is 3 Consecutive Cycles (1 Cycle = 1 Minute). Alert Frequency The frequency at which the alert is triggered. Alert Event Select an event to trigger the alert. 
Notification configuration.
ParameterDescriptionAlert Level Valid values: Info, Warning, and Critical. Alert Method Default: Email + Webhook. Alert Contact Type You can select an alert contact group or an alert contact. For more information, see Alert contacts. Rule Effective Time Alerts are triggered only during the configured effective time of the rule. 
Click Create.
