Create an alert muting rule

This topic describes how to create an alert muting rule.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

3. On the page that appears, click the Alert Muting tab.

4. On this tab, click Create Muting Rule.

5. Specify parameters of the muting rule.

   Parameter	Description
   Muting Rule Name	Name of the alert muting rule.
   Muting Target Type	Valid values: Instance and Alert Rule. The alert targets vary depending on the specified muting target type.
   Instance or Alert Rule	Select the target for which an alert is to be muted.
   Muting Scope	If you set Muting Object Types to Instance, you can select Metric or Event.
   Muting Window	Mute Indefinitely Mute Between Specified Start and End Dates Mute During Specified Time Period

6. Click Create.
