Data validation supports the batch import of validation objects by importing a CSV file, as well as operations such as renaming databases and tables, and setting row filters.
Considerations
If you use an Excel file for editing, please save it as a CSV file with commas (,) as the delimiter before importing.
Procedure
The imported CSV file must contain the following columns: source database name, source table name, target database name, target table name, and row filter conditions. If the selected validation type is Row Count Validation, then row filter conditions are not supported.
Configure the data validation task to the Select Type & Objects step's Validation Objects section, and select the Specify Objects method.
For detailed instructions on configuring the data validation task, see Create a validation task.
Note
Only when the Specify Objects method is selected can objects be imported.
In the right-side list of the Select Objects section, click the Import button in the upper-right corner.
In the prompt box, click OK to enter the Import Validation Objects dialog box.
Note
Importing will overwrite previous selections for entire databases and their tables. Proceed with caution.
In the Import Validation Objects dialog box, click Import CSV and select the CSV file saved locally for import.
You can also click Download Template. After downloading, modify the configuration information as needed, and then click Import CSV to import the validation objects.
The import validation objects interface displays the content of the CSV file. You can edit it as needed.
Click Validate next to Legitimacy Verification to confirm whether the source objects exist and whether the row filter objects are correct.
After the validation is successful, click Import.
Complete the subsequent task configurations as prompted.
