This topic introduces the information displayed on the instance list page and the related actions you can perform.
Procedure
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
Click Instances on the left-side navigation pane.
You can click Create Instance on the top right corner of the page to purchase an instance. For details, refer to Create an instance.
You can click Instance Tag at the top of the page and filter out instances based on different tags. You can also search the target instances by their names in the search box.
The instance list page displays the basic information about the instances, such as instance name/ID, instance type, resource usage, cloud vendor, region, database version, and current status, etc. You can perform the following actions, including creating a tenant, increasing the compute and storage capacity of the instance, stopping or releasing the instance.
Field Description Name You can click the instance name to enter its details page. For more information, refer to Overview. Type Displays the instance type you choose when you create the instance. Resources Displays the compute and storage capacity and their current usage status. For details on how to change the specifications of the current instance, refer to Scale your instances. Vendor Currently, AWS and Google Cloud are supported. Region Displays the region you choose when you create the instance. Version Displays the OceanBase database version you choose when you create the instance. Tags You can create and add tags for your instances based on your needs to help you better manage your resources. Status Displays the current status of the instance. Actions You can perform the following actions on the instance: create a tenant, change instance configurations, view history of configuration changes, stop an instance, and release an instance. You can click the arrow next to the instance name to show the tenants of the instance. You can perform the following actions on the tenants: create an account, connect to a database, migrate data, edit tenant name, switch the primary zone of a tenant, and delete a tenant.
