Delete a read-only replica of a tenant

This topic provides the procedure for deleting a read-only replica of a tenant.

Prerequisites

A read-only replica exists for the tenant. For more information about how to add a read-only replica to a tenant, see Add a read-only replica to a tenant.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

3. In the instance list, click the name of the target instance to go to the Overview page of the instance.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants.

5. In the tenant list, find the target tenant and select More > Manage Read-only Replicas in the Actions column.

6. In the Manage Read-only Replicas dialog box, manage the read-only replicas of the tenant. To delete a read-only replica, disable the switch in the Tenant Read-only Replica column.

   Notice

   When you delete a read-only replica, the system will automatically delete the endpoint of the read-only replica in the corresponding zone. Before performing this operation, make sure that all requests to the endpoint of the read-only replica to be deleted in the target zone have been stopped.

7. Click OK in the dialog box.
