Manage read-only replicas of a tenant

This topic provides instructions on how to modify the configurations of a read-only replica of a tenant.

Considerations

Currently, the resource specifications of a tenant's read-only replica are the same as those of the tenant itself. When you modify the specifications of a tenant, the system will automatically adjust the specifications of the corresponding read-only replica to keep them consistent.

When modifying the specifications of an existing read-only replica of a tenant, this change is expected to not impact the business operations directly.

Prerequisites

• The instance to which the tenant belongs has at least one read-only replica in one of its zones. For more information, see Add a read-only replica to an instance.

• The instance has sufficient resources for the read-only replica. For more information, see Manage read-only replica of an instance.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

3. In the instance list, find the target instance and click the instance name to go to the Overview page of the instance.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants.

5. In the tenant list, find the target tenant, click the ··· icon on the right side of the list, and then select Manage Read-only Replicas from the drop-down menu.

6. In the window that appears, click the edit button next to the target tenant.

7. In the edit window, modify the resource specifications and click OK.
