Manage data migration tasks by using tags

After you create a data migration task, you can use the tag feature to manage the data migration task and quickly filter the target task. This topic describes how to use the tag feature to manage data migration tasks in OceanBase Cloud.

Limitations

• You can add up to 20 tags for each data migration task.

• The tag names of the same user are unique.

Create a tag

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrate Data page, hover the pointer over the Tags icon under the target task and click Add Tags.

4. In the Add Tags dialog box, click Create Tag in the drop-down list.

5. In the Add Tags dialog box, enter values for Tag Key and Tag Value.

   Notice

   The length of a tag key must be 1 to 128 characters, and the length of a tag value must be 1 to 256 characters.

   If you want to create more tags, click Add. If you want to delete a tag, click the Delete icon next to the tag.

6. After you finish creating tags, click OK.

Add a tag

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrate Data page, hover the pointer over the Tags icon under the target task and click Add Tags.

4. In the Add Tags dialog box, select the tag key and value from the drop-down list.

   Notice

   You can select only one tag value for the same tag key.

5. Click OK.

Modify tags

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrate Data page, hover the pointer over the Tags icon of the target task and click Edit.

4. In the Edit Tags dialog box, click the X icon next to the tag that you want to delete. Then, select the desired tag key and value from the drop-down list.

5. Click OK.

Delete tags

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrate Data page, hover the pointer over the Tags icon of the target task and click Edit.

4. In the Edit Tags dialog box, click the X icon next to the tag that you want to delete.

5. Click OK.
