You can enable AI services for OceanBase Cloud, modify model configurations, and perform other operations through the AI settings.
Prerequisites
Project owners, project admins, and instance admins can add, delete, and modify models, and change the global default model.
Users with data read/write permissions, data service management permissions, and project member permissions can only replace models used in the document knowledge base and chat.
Enable AI services

Please read the terms and conditions related to AI features in the OceanBase Cloud Service Agreement before using this feature. If you disagree with any of the terms, do not enable this feature.
This feature leverages the Qwen large model technology to provide intelligent SQL generation services. After enabling this feature, when you enter an SQL statement in the dialog box, the feature will generate corresponding SQL statements based on your input and database table structure information, which you can choose from. For more information, see Intelligent SQL Development.
Configure models
OceanBase Cloud AI services allow you to configure various models. After completing the configuration, you can switch between models in the AI service. For more information, see Quick Start. Default model information:
Large Language Model (LLM): Qwen qwen-plus, which is the default inference and chat model for AI services. It is free to use.
Text-Embedding: Qwen Text-Embedding-v3, which is the default model for vectorizing imported and retrieved knowledge base documents. It is free to use.
Currently supported providers: DeepSeek, Doubao, and Qwen.
Configure API keys
To configure the API key for DeepSeek, follow these steps:
Log in to the website and create and copy your API key.
Return to the OceanBase Cloud console, enter your API key in the pop-up window, and click OK.
You can also click Remove to delete the current vendor's API configuration.
To configure the API key for Doubao, follow these steps:

Please make sure that you have enabled the model service. If not, go to the VolcanoArk console to enable the corresponding model service.
Log in to the website and create and copy your API key.
Click API Access Key under Permissions and Security to create your key.
Return to the OceanBase Cloud console, enter your API key, AccessKey ID, and AccessKey Secret in the pop-up window, and click OK.
You can also click Remove to delete the current vendor's API configuration.
