You can monitor the status of target instances or tenants by customize monitoring objects and metrics on a monitoring dashboard. You can also add or edit a monitoring dashboard as needed.
Add a monitoring dashboard
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboard.
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, click Create Dashboard.
On the Add Dashboard page, configure the following parameters and click OK.
Parameter Description Dashboard Name The name of the dashboard, which must be 20 characters or fewer in length. View Group Name The default value is View Group 1 (View Group 2, View Group 3, etc.). You can also click the Edit button on the right to customize the view group name. Monitoring Object Type The type of the target monitoring objects. You can select instance or tenant. Monitoring Objects The target monitoring objects. Monitoring Metrics The metrics to be displayed. For more information about the supported metrics, see the metrics sections in the Customize a monitoring dashboard for an instance and Customize a monitoring dashboard for a tenant topics respectively. Add View Group Add a view group to the dashboard. After the dashboard is created, you can view it on the Monitoring Dashboard page.
View a monitoring dashboard
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboard.
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, click the name of the target dashboard to view its details.
You can click the name of the target dashboard to view its details.
You can click the time range in the upper-right corner to adjust the time range of the target dashboard.
You can click the refresh button in the upper-right corner to refresh the dashboard.
Edit a monitoring dashboard
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboard.
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, hover the pointer over the name of the target dashboard and click Edit Dashboard in the shortcut menu that appears.
On the Edit Dashboard page, you can edit the dashboard name, view group name, monitoring object type, monitoring objects, and metrics. For more information, see Add a monitoring dashboard.
After you finish the editing, click OK to save the changes.
Delete a monitoring dashboard
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboard.
On the Monitoring Dashboard page, hover the pointer over the name of the target dashboard and click Delete Dashboard in the shortcut menu that appears.
In the dialog box that appears, click Delete to confirm the deletion.
