Start, pause, and resume data validation tasks

This topic describes how to start, pause, and resume data validation tasks.

Limitations

• Only users with the Project Owner, Project Manager, or Data Service Administrator role can start, pause, and resume data validation tasks.

• You can start only data validation tasks in the Not Started state.

• You can pause only data validation tasks in the Running state.

• You can resume only data validation tasks in the Paused or Failed state.

Start a data validation task

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, select Data Services > Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Start next to the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click Start in the upper-right corner.

Pause a data validation task

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, select Data Services > Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Pause next to the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click Pause in the upper-right corner.

4. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   Note

   If a task is paused for more than 12 hours, it cannot be resumed.

Resume a data validation task

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, select Data Services > Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Resume next to the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click Resume in the upper-right corner.
