This topic describes how to purchase the Binlog service in the console of an OceanBase Cloud tenant.
Limitations
Only users with the Project Owner or Project Admin role can purchase the Binlog service.
The Binlog service is managed at the tenant level. You cannot enable the Binlog service for a database or table. Only tenants in the MySQL compatible mode support the Binlog service.
Procedure
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to go to the overview page of the instance.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants. In the tenant list, click the name of the target MySQL-compatible tenant to go to the overview page of the tenant.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Binlog.
On the Binlog page, click Purchase Binlog Service.
On the Purchase Binlog Service page, configure the parameters.
Parameter Description Instance Configuration The instance configuration of the OceanBase Database instance to which the Binlog service belongs, including the cloud vendor, region, instance ID, tenant ID, and tenant specifications. Payment Method The Binlog service supports only Pay-as-you-go. Resource Configuration Configure Compute Units and Storage based on your needs. The Storage parameter supports Fixed Size and Auto Scaling. For more information about billing, see Binlog service billing. After the parameters are configured, select I have read and agree to the OceanBase Cloud Service Agreement and Service Level Agreement in the Summary section on the right.
Click Confirm Order. Wait until the order is placed.
