Delete a read-only replica of an instance

This topic describes how to delete a read-only replica of an instance.

Prerequisites

A read-only replica exists in the instance. For more information about how to add a read-only replica to an instance, see Add a read-only replica to an instance.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

3. In the instance list, find the target instance, and click ··· > Manage Read-Only Replicas in the Actions column.

4. In the Manage Read-Only Replicas dialog box, click Delete Read-Only Replica and select the read-only replica to delete.

   Notice

   This operation will delete all resources of the read-only replica. Make sure that the tenant no longer needs access to this replica. After you delete the tenant's read-only replica, you can perform this operation.

5. Click OK. You will be directed to the payment page.

   Note

   For pay-as-you-go instances, OceanBase Cloud will stop charging for the specifications and storage of the deleted read-only replica from the next hour.

6. Verify the information of the read-only replica to be deleted, accept the service agreement, and complete the deletion.
