Modify the major compaction time

This topic describes how to modify the major compaction time of an instance.

Prerequisites

Before you modify the major compaction time, check whether the instance status is Running. You can only modify the major compaction time when the instance status is Running.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to go to its workspace.

3. On the instance workspace page, under Data Compaction, choose Actions > Modify Compaction Time.

   

4. Set the new Major Compaction Time and then click OK to submit the modification.
