View major compaction records

After initiating a major compaction for an instance in the OceanBase Cloud console, you can go to the instance workspace to view the major compaction records for that instance. Currently, you can view the three most recent major compaction records for the instance.

Prerequisites

A major compaction has been initiated for the target instance. For specific procedures on how to initiate a major compaction, see Initiate a major compaction.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to enter its workspace.

3. On the instance workspace page, under Data Compaction, choose Actions > View Compaction History.

   

   You can view the three most recent major compaction records for the target instance, including Compaction Started At, Compaction Ended At, Duration, Status, and Data Version Number.
