Add an alert contact

This topic describes how to add an alert contact.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

3. On the page that appears, click the Alert Contacts tab.

4. Click Add Alert Contact.

5. In the Add Alert Contact dialog box, specify the following parameters and click Add.

   Parameter	Required	Description
   Contact Name	Yes	The name must be 2 to 40 characters in length and must start with a Chinese or English character. It can contain Chinese and English characters, numbers, dots ("."), and underscores("_").
   Email	Yes	The email address of the contact.
   Webhook URL	No	You can select DingTalk, Lark, or Telegram, and enter the webhook URL of the corresponding group robot. For more information about how to obtain the webhook URL, see Obtain a webhook URL. When you use the webhook URL of another tool, you can select Custom URL. Enter Webhook URL and HTTP Header as needed, and click Test. After the test is passed, you can proceed to the next step. Note When you enter a custom webhook URL, it may be blocked by the firewall. In this case, contact OceanBase Technical Support for assistance.
   Notification Language	Yes	The language for sending notifications. Valid values: Chinese and English.

   

6. After you add an alert contact, you can view and manage it in the list.
