The personal account information page allows you to view and manage your account information.
Background information
During your use of OceanBase Cloud, you can manage and maintain your personal account information. Common operations supported include changing your password, updating your email address, and linking third-party accounts.
Prerequisites
You have the permissions of a project owner, project admin, or organization admin.
Change your email address
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console. In the upper-right corner, click your avatar and select User Preferences.
View the Profile information.
Click Change Email Address next to Email.
In the Authentication window, verify the original email address and click Next.
In the Change Email window, enter the new email address and verify it. Click Next.
After the operation is completed, confirm the email address change in the Done window.
Change your password
The password policy for your personal account is determined by the password policy of the organization you belong to. If you belong to multiple organizations, the password policy of the organization with the highest requirements will be applied. After your password expires, you can also change it on the login page by using the Forgot Password feature.

The password policy can only be modified by the organization admin. For more information, see Manage organization information.
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console. In the upper-right corner, click your avatar and select User Preferences.
View the Profile information.
Click Change Password next to Password.
In the Change Password dialog box, enter the current password, new password, and confirm the new password.
Click OK to complete the password change.
Log in using a third-party account
OceanBase Cloud allows you to link third-party accounts for logging in to and using the console.

You can link a third-party account on the login page or on the personal information page.
Link a third-party account on the login page
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
On the login page, click the account type you want to use.
On the redirected third-party login page, enter your account and password.
In the pop-up window, view the linking information and click Confirm.
After the redirection, log in to the OceanBase Cloud account you want to link.
Wait for the linking to complete.
Link a third-party account on the personal information page
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console. In the upper-right corner, click your avatar and select User Preferences.
View the Profile information.
In the Login Providers section, select the third-party account type you want to link and click Link on the right.
Select or log in to the third-party account to complete the linking.
Unlink a third-party login account
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console and click User Preferences.
View the Profile information.
Click Unlink next to the target third-party account.
In the pop-up window, confirm the unlinking.
