To improve password security, it is recommended to change the login password of your OceanBase Cloud account every 90 days. This topic describes the procedure of modifying your login password.
Procedure
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
Click the
icon in the upper-right corner and select User Preferences.On the Profile tab, click Change Password.
In the pop-up dialog box, complete the required fields.
Note
The new password cannot be the same as your current password, or the last 3 passwords you have used.
Click OK.

How to reset your password
Scenario 1: Forgot password when logging in
If you have forgot your password when trying to log in, follow the instructions below to reset your password.
Navigate to the OceanBase Cloud console.
On the login page, click Forgot password.
On the Reset Password page, follow the instructions to complete the process of resetting your password.
Note
The new password cannot be the same as your current password, or the last 3 passwords you have used.
Scenario 2: Forgot password when changing it
If you have already logged in and forgot your current login password when you are in the process of changing it, you can follow the instructions below to reset your password.
Navigate to the Profile page and click Change Password.
In the pop-up dialog box, click Forgot password?.
On the Reset Password page, follow the instructions to complete the process of resetting your password.
