This topic describes how to view and modify the subscription objects of a configured data subscription task.
Background information
During the execution of a data subscription task, you can add or remove subscription objects as long as the limit conditions are met. Each modification is recorded. After an object addition task is completed, it will be merged with the original task. Once the merge is successful, the original task continues to run, and the object addition task will automatically release.
View subscription objects
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
In the left-side navigation pane, select Data Services > Data Subscription.
On the Data Subscription page, click ... next to the target task and select View Objects.
You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click View Objects in the upper-right corner.
In the View Objects dialog box, view the Subscription Objects and View Objects tabs.
The Subscription Objects tab displays the current subscription objects of the task. You can perform Add Object and Remove Object operations on this tab.
The Modification Records tab displays the modification time and status of all object modification operations.
Add subscription objects
On the Data Subscription page, click ... next to the target task and select View Objects.
You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click View Objects in the upper-right corner.
In the View Objects dialog box, click Add Object in the upper-right corner of the Subscription Objects tab.
In the Add Object dialog box, select the tables or databases to be added and click > to add them to the right list. You can select one or more tables from one or more databases as subscription objects, or select an entire database as a subscription object.
Notice
The new subscription objects will inherit all configuration options of the original data subscription task by default. If you terminate the operation during the object addition process, you need to manually delete the added objects from the target database.
Click OK after your selection.
Remove subscription objects
On the Data Subscription page, click ... next to the target task and select View Objects.
You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page and click View Objects in the upper-right corner.
In the View Objects dialog box, click Remove Object in the upper-right corner of the Subscription Objects tab.
In the Remove Object dialog box, click the Remove icon next to the table or database that you do not want to subscribe to in the Selected section on the right and add it to the left list.
Click OK after your selection.
In the confirmation dialog box, confirm the objects to be removed and click OK.
Notice
Once an object is removed, it cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
The removal of objects will either succeed for all selected objects or fail for all of them.
