Monitor cross-cloud network performance

This topic describes how to monitor cross-cloud network performance in OceanBase Cloud.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

3. In the instance list, find the target instance, click its name, and go to the Overview page of the instance.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Metrics.

5. On the monitoring page, click the Cross-Cloud Network tab.

6. By default, the page displays the monitoring data of the instance in the last hour.

   • You can select a custom time period to view the data of that period.
   • You can select a layout from the Layout drop-down list to change the chart layout. The supported layouts include 2 charts per row and 3 charts per row.
   • You can enable or disable the Compare Time Ranges switch to enable or disable the time period comparison feature.
   • You can enable or disable the Link Charts switch to enable or disable the chart linkage feature. If this feature is enabled, when you zoom in or out or pan one chart, the other charts are synchronized.
   • You can select an interval from the Auto Refresh drop-down list to set the auto-refresh interval, or disable auto-refresh.
   • You can click Create Alert Rule to create an alert rule based on a monitoring metric.

   You can view the following monitoring data:

     Cross-Cloud Network Channel Connection RX Bandwidth Utilization	obcloud.metric_chart.vpn.connection.rx_bandwidth_util_percent	Percentage (%)	The RX bandwidth utilization of the cross-cloud network channel connection.
     Cross-Cloud Network Channel Connection TX Bandwidth Utilization	obcloud.metric_chart.vpn.connection.tx_bandwidth_util_percent	Percentage (%)	The TX bandwidth utilization of the cross-cloud network channel connection.
     Cross-Cloud Network Channel Connection RX Packets	obcloud.metric_chart.vpn.connection.rx_packets	-	The number of RX packets of the cross-cloud network channel connection.
     Cross-Cloud Network Channel Connection TX Packets	obcloud.metric_chart.vpn.connection.tx_packets	-	The number of TX packets of the cross-cloud network channel connection.
     Cross-Cloud Network Channel Connection Packet Drops	obcloud.metric_chart.vpn.connection.packet_drop	-	The number of packet drops of the cross-cloud network channel connection.
