This section describes the billing of transactional instances with different storage architectures.
The total hourly price of an AWS instance = the price of the compute node + the price of the storage capacity + the price of the storage IOPS and throughput. Where:
The price of the storage capacity = the price of a single storage replica per GiB per hour (USD) * the number of storage replicas * the storage capacity
The price of the storage IOPS and throughput = the price of the storage IOPS and throughput per unit * the number of storage replicas
The total monthly cost of the instance = the total hourly price of the instance * 730 hours
