    This topic describes the billing method and prices of AWS instances. Currently, AWS only supports pay-as-you-go billing. The prices in this topic may not be updated in time. Please refer to the prices on the order page.

    This section describes the billing of transactional instances with different storage architectures.

    Shared Nothing instances
    Shared Storage instances

    The total hourly price of an AWS instance = the price of the compute node + the price of the storage capacity + the price of the storage IOPS and throughput. Where:

    • The price of the storage capacity = the price of a single storage replica per GiB per hour (USD) * the number of storage replicas * the storage capacity

    • The price of the storage IOPS and throughput = the price of the storage IOPS and throughput per unit * the number of storage replicas

    • The total monthly cost of the instance = the total hourly price of the instance * 730 hours
