This topic describes how to disable the Binlog service in the OceanBase Cloud console.
Limitations
You cannot disable the Binlog service in the Changing Config state.
Procedure
Log in to the OceanBase Cloud console.
On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to go to the Overview page of the instance.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants, and click the name of the target MySQL compatible mode tenant to go to the Overview page of the tenant.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Binlog.
On the Binlog page, click ... in the upper-right corner and then click Disable Binlog Service.
In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
Note
After you disable the Binlog service, all generated log files will be deleted and cannot be recovered. The storage space occupied by these files will also be released. Proceed with caution.
