The OceanBase Cloud console provides a high-availability and high-performance backup feature and supports data backup for OceanBase clusters.
Backup modes
OceanBase Cloud supports the following two backup modes:
Backup strategy:
The system automatically backs up data on a regular basis based on the preset backup strategy. You can enable the system to perform full backup at the specified time every week or month. The system can back up logs and regularly delete expired data. After you create a backup strategy, the system automatically backs up data on a regular basis, and you can suspend or restart the backup schedule.
Immediate backup:
You can manually perform a backup. However, if a full backup is in progress, manual backup cannot be performed. Regardless of whether there is an ongoing backup strategy, a manual backup can be performed immediately.
