Retry and stop a performance assessment task

This topic describes how to retry and stop a performance assessment task.

Limitations

• Only users with the roles Project Admin and Data Services Admin are allowed to retry or stop performance assessment tasks.

• You can retry only performance assessment tasks in the Stopped or Failed state.

• You can stop only performance assessment tasks in the Evaluating state.

Retry an assessment task

1. Log on to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrations page, click the Assess Performance tab.

   

4. On the Assess Performance tab, click Retry next to the target assessment task.

5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   Note

   If you retry an assessment task for which a report has been generated, the original report will be overwritten.

Stop an assessment task

1. Log on to the OceanBase Cloud console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Services > Migrations.

3. On the Migrations page, click the Assess Performance tab.

4. On the Assess Performance tab, click Stop next to the target assessment task.

5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   Note

   After you stop the assessment task, all pending reports will not be generated. To generate reports for the task, you need to retry the task.
