OceanBase Migration Service (OMS) supports the management of resource groups. This feature allows tasks to be deployed only on specific servers that use dedicated resources. It also allows isolation between different resources.
Limitations
Only users with the root or admin role can manage resource groups. Users with other roles can only view resource groups.
You can create at most 100 resource groups.
You cannot delete the
defaultresource group.You cannot delete a resource group that is in use.
Go to the Manage Resource Groups dialog box
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose OPS & Monitoring > Server.
On the Servers page, click the edit icon in the Associated Resource Groups column of the target server.
In the drop-down list, click Manage Resource Groups.

Create a resource group
Go to the Manage Resource Groups dialog box.
Click Create Resource Group.
Enter a name for the resource group and click ✅.

Delete a resource group
Go to the Manage Resource Groups dialog box.
Click Delete in the Action column of the target resource group.
If the resource group is not in use, it will be deleted.
If the resource group is in use, an error message indicating that the deletion is not allowed will be displayed.
Use resource groups
Add a resource group to a server
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose OPS & Monitoring > Server.
On the Servers page, click the edit icon in the Associated Resource Groups column of the target server.
Select the resource group used by the server from the drop-down list.
Note
You can select up to 10 resource groups.
Click OK.
Remove a resource group from a server
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose OPS & Monitoring > Server.
On the Servers page, click the edit icon in the Associated Resource Groups column of the target server.
Deselect the resource group that needs to be removed from the drop-down list.
Note
You must select at least one resource group.
Click OK.
