If a data synchronization task is no longer required, you can stop and end it. After a data synchronization task is ended, you can delete it to clear related information and release resources.
End a data synchronization task
After a data synchronization task is ended, OceanBase Migration Service (OMS) terminates the task. This operation is irreversible. Proceed with caution. However, OMS does not delete the task. You can still view details about the task.
Notice
OMS allows you to end a data synchronization task in the Stopped, Failed, or Completed state.
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Synchronization.
On the Synchronization Tasks page, click the More icon in the Actions column of the task that you want to end, and select End from the drop-down list.
You can also click the task name to go to the details page, click End in the upper-right corner.
In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Delete a data synchronization task
After you delete a data synchronization task, data of the task cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
Notice
OMS allows you to delete a data synchronization task in the Not Started or Ended state.
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Synchronization.
On the Synchronization Tasks page, click Delete in the Actions column of the task that you want to delete.
You can also click the task name to go to the details page, and click Delete in the upper-right corner.
In the dialog box that appears, click Delete.
