After you create a data validation task, you can use tags to manage the task and quickly filter out the target task. This topic describes how to use tags to manage data validation tasks in OceanBase Migration Service (OMS).
Limitations
Each data validation task supports at most four tags.
You can create at most 100 tags.
Tags created by the same user must have unique names.
You can view and manage only the tags of the current account.
Access the Manage Tags dialog box
Log in to the OMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Validation.
Access the Manage Tags dialog box by using one of the following methods:
Use the Edit Tag icon in the task list.
On the Data Validation page, find the target task to which you want to add a tag.
Hover the pointer over the task name and click the Edit Tag icon that appears.
In the Edit Tag dialog box, click the text box.
In the drop-down list, click Manage Tags.
Use the drop-down list on the data validation page.
On the Data Validation page, click the Tag filter in the upper-right corner.
In the drop-down list, click Manage Tags.
Create a tag
In the Manage Tags dialog box, click Create Tag.
In the Create Tag dialog box, enter Tag Name.
Notice
The tag name must be 1 to 20 characters in length and cannot contain spaces.
Click OK.
Modify a tag
In the Manage Tags dialog box, click Modify next to the target tag.
In the Edit Tag dialog box, enter the new tag name.
Notice
The tag name must be 1 to 20 characters in length and cannot contain spaces.
Click OK.
If the tag is not used by any task, the modification is directly applied.
If the tag is used by one or more tasks, a dialog box appears, displaying the number of tasks using the tag. After you confirm the modification, click OK.
Delete a tag
In the Manage Tags dialog box, click Delete next to the target tag.
(Optional) If the tag is used by one or more tasks, confirm the information in the dialog box and click Delete.
Note
If the tag is not used by any task, you do not need to perform this step.
After the tag is deleted, it will no longer be associated with any work items in the current task. Proceed with caution.
Remove a tag from a task
On the Data Validation page, click the edit tag icon next to the target task.
In the Edit Tag dialog box, click the delete icon next to the selected tag.
Click OK.
