Start, stop, and resume a data validation task

This topic describes how to start, stop, and resume a data validation task.

Limitations

• You can start a data validation task in the Not Started state.

• You can stop a data validation task in the Running state.

• You can resume a data validation task in the Stopped or Failed state.

Start a data validation task

1. Log in to the OMS console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Start in the Actions column of the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page, and click Start in the upper-right corner.

Stop a data validation task

1. Log in to the OMS console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Stop in the Actions column of the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page, and click Stop in the upper-right corner.

4. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   Notice

   If a task is stopped for more than 12 hours, it may not be recoverable.

Resume a data validation task

1. Log in to the OMS console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Validation.

3. On the Data Validation page, click Resume in the Actions column of the target task.

   You can also click the name of the target task to go to its details page, and click Resume in the upper-right corner.
