This topic describes how to change a topic in OceanBase Migration Service (OMS).
Applicability
When you create a data synchronization task from a database to a message queue, OMS allows you to change the topic name after you select the type of topic to synchronize.
Procedure
Configure the data synchronization task to the Select Synchronization Objects step.
For more information, see the corresponding data synchronization task topic.
After you select the synchronization objects and mapping mode, hover the pointer over the target object in the Target Object(s) column, and click the Change Topic link that appears.

In the Map Object to Topic dialog box, change the topic to synchronize.

Note
When you synchronize data from OceanBase Database to a RocketMQ instance, only the Existing Topic mapping mode is supported.
When you synchronize data from OceanBase Database to a Kafka, DataHub instance, if you do not select Schema Synchronization in the Synchronization Type field, only the Existing Topic mode is supported. If you select Schema Synchronization in the Synchronization Type field, only one topic can be created or selected for synchronization.
Click OK.
After you click OK, the selected topics and tables are merged. Proceed with caution.
Complete the task configuration as prompted.
