New features
Data synchronization
Supports real-time synchronization of incremental data from the Oracle compatible mode or MySQL compatible mode of OceanBase Database to RocketMQ.
Supports real-time synchronization of incremental data from Sybase ASE 12.5 to RocketMQ.
User management
Enhances management of user login and logout, user creation, personal information, roles, and permissions to ensure the security of data transmission.
More user-friendly migration and synchronization management features
Dynamically displays the latency of incremental timestamps and real-time traffic for data migration and synchronization projects, and supports segmented viewing of the performance changes of synchronization curves.
Allows you to specify a pull point to consume data again for data synchronization projects.
Supports editing the synchronization objects of the current project, adding or deleting tables to be synchronized.
Supports configuring whether to synchronize data of Sybase ASE 12.5 strictly according to the SQL order.
Riches the displayed information about the configuration of data synchronization projects, including the synchronization start point, topic, and shard column information, and the tenant information of the source cluster.
After a latency or system failure monitoring event occurs in a data migration or synchronization project, the backend OCP receives the alert.
Limitations on version usage
Data migration
If a MySQL database is the source of a data migration project, the following limitations apply:
Full and incremental data migration of tables without primary keys is not supported.
Only data sources from the InnoDB storage engine of MySQL are supported.
During incremental data migration, automatic synchronization of DDL statements is not supported.
Data synchronization
Real-time synchronization of changes in tables without primary keys from the MySQL compatible mode of OceanBase Database is not supported.
Real-time data synchronization from Sybase is not supported for tables without primary keys or partitioned tables. The incremental parsing supports 13 data types: CHAR, NUMERIC, INT, DATETIME, VARCHAR, DECIMAL, SMALLINT, TINYINT, BIT, BINARY, REAL, NVARCHAR, and FLOAT.
The real-time synchronization project from Sybase to RocketMQ does not display the real-time timestamp in the console.
We recommend that you do not set more than 2,000 tables as the source or target of a single synchronization project, or the size of the content in a single RocketMQ message should not exceed 4 MB.
Synchronization to the same Kafka or RocketMQ instance is not supported if the topic names differ only in capitalization.
After you upgrade OMS from Version 2.0.0 to Version 2.1.0, you cannot modify the synchronization objects for synchronization projects created in OMS 2.0.0.
System
By default, the HA service is disabled after you deploy OMS 2.1.0. You need to manually start the HA service as required.
