Change a user password

This topic describes how to change a user password.

Prerequisites

The logged-on user has the ADMIN or USER_MANAGER role.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > Security .

3. On the User Management tab, click Change Password in the Actions column of the user list.

   The password change dialog box appears.

4. Enter the new password in the dialog box.

   The password must be 8 to 32 characters in length, and contain at least two uppercase letters, two lowercase letters, two digits, and two special characters. The supported special characters are ~ ! @ # % ^ & * _ - + = ` | ( ) { } [ ] : ; ' , . ? /

5. Click OK .
