This topic describes how to create and manage connection credentials of a host. When you add a host in OCP, you must select an available connection credential.
Create a connection credential
In the upper-right corner of the OCP console, click the username and choose Password Box .
The Password Box page appears.
For security reasons, passwords are displayed as *** .
On the Host tab, click Create Connection .
In the Create Connection dialog box, configure the connection credential for the host to be connected.
Parameter Description Credential Name Specifies a user-defined credential name. Authorization Type If you select an SSH private key, ensure that the SSH public key already exists in the host, and paste the SSH private key to the corresponding field. For OpenSSH 7.8 or later, add the -m PEMparameter tossh-keygen.Username You must have the permission to run the sudo command without password. This means that you need to specify NOPASSWD:ALL in /etc/sudoers of the corresponding host. Otherwise, the connection credential test will fail. 
Click OK .
The password box tests the connection credential. If the test fails, the connection creation fails.
Modify a connection credential
In the upper-right corner of the OCP console, click the username and choose Password Box .
The Password Box page appears.
For security reasons, passwords are displayed as *** .
On the Host tab, find the target connection credential.
Click Modify in the Actions column.
In the Update Connection dialog box, modify the credential.
Click OK .
Delete a connection credential
In the upper-right corner of the OCP console, click the username and choose Password Box .
The Password Box page appears.
For security reasons, passwords are displayed as *** .
On the Host tab, find the target connection credential.
Click Delete in the Actions column.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
Click Delete .
Note
After the credential is deleted, the host cannot be accessed. Proceed with caution.
