Create an alert item

This topic describes how to create an alert item in the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.

Prerequisite

You have the ADMIN or ALARM_MANAGER role.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > Alerts .

3. In the upper-right corner of the Alert Item Configuration tab, click Create Alert Item .

4. Set Rule Information for the alert item.

   1. Specify the alert item scope.

   2. You can set alert rules based on the value you selected for Alert Item Scope.

   

5. Set Basic Information for the alert item.

   1. Specify Alert Item Name and Description.

   2. Specify Alert Level.

   3. Set the alert overview template as prompted.

   4. Set the alert details template as prompted.

      • The alert overview template is referenced by the template field of the channel, and corresponds to the alarm_summary variable.

      • The alert details template is referenced by the template field of the channel, and corresponds to the alarm_description variable.

      

6. Click Submit .
