Delete a service

This topic describes how to delete a backup or recovery service that you no longer need.

Prerequisites

• Make sure that you have the following permissions:

  • Resource Permissions : Host Maintenance permission
  • Menu Permissions : Permission on the Service menu of Backup & Recovery

• You have installed a backup or recovery service. For more information, see Install a service.

• You have uninstalled the service to delete on all of the nodes where the service is installed. For more information, see Uninstall a service on a node.

Procedure

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup & Recovery > Service .

2. Find the service to delete. Click the More icon in the Actions column, and select Delete .

   A dialog box appears, as shown in the following figure.

   

3. Click Delete .
