View the major compaction records

This topic describes how to view the major compaction records of a cluster in the last three days.

Prerequisites

Make sure that you have the following permissions:

• Resource permissions: Cluster read-only permission.
• Menu permissions: Permission on the Compaction Management menu of clusters.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. The Clusters tab automatically appears.

3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click its name to go to the Overview page.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Compaction Management.

5. In the upper-right corner of the Details of Major Compaction or Configuration for Major Compaction tab, click View Major Compaction Records to view major compaction records of the cluster in the last three days, such as the tenant name and ID, start time, end time, time consumed, version number, and status of major compactions.
