This topic describes how to dissociate an arbitration service from an OceanBase cluster. After the cluster is dissociated from the arbitration service, the cluster and tenants in the cluster cannot use the arbitration service. Proceed with caution.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) Enterprise Edition. OCP Community Edition does not support this feature.
Prerequisites
Make sure that you have the following permissions:
- Resource permissions: Arbitration service maintenance permission.
- Menu permissions: Permission on the Overview menu of clusters.
The arbitration service is in the Running state.
The arbitration service is associated with an OceanBase cluster.
Procedure
Log in to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. The Clusters tab automatically appears.
Click the Arbitration Service tab to view the list of arbitration services.
Find the arbitration service to dissociate, click More in the Actions column, and select Dissociate Cluster.
In the panel that appears, select one or more OceanBase clusters to dissociate.
Click Dissociate.
