Copy a service

To create a service similar to an existing one, you can copy the existing service, and then configure the settings that are different.

Prerequisite

• Make sure that you have the following permissions:

  • Resource Permissions : Host Maintenance permission
  • Menu Permissions : Permission on the Service menu of Backup & Recovery

• You have installed a service. For more information, see Install a service.

Procedure

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup & Recovery > Service .

2. Find the service to copy. Click the More icon in the Actions column, and then select Copy to

   go to the Replicate Service page.

   On this page, you can edit parameters that are different from those of the copied service. For more information about the parameters, see Install a service.

3. Click Install .
