Uninstall a service on a node

This topic describes how to uninstall a backup or recovery service on a host.

Prerequisites

• Make sure that you have the following permissions:

  • Resource Permissions : Host Maintenance permission
  • Menu Permissions : Permission on the Service menu of Backup & Recovery

• You have installed a backup or recovery service. For more information, see Install a service.

• You have stopped the service on the node. For more information, see Stop a service on a node.

Procedure

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup & Recovery > Service .

2. Find the service to uninstall and click its name.

   The service details page appears.

   

3. In the Node Settings list, find the node to uninstall the service from. Click the More icon and select Uninstall .

   The system prompts: "Are you sure that you want to uninstall the service on the node xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx?"

4. Click Uninstall .
