You can start or stop a binlog cluster based on your business needs. Stopping a binlog cluster does not affect the normal operations of binlog instances in the cluster or the consumption of binlog data.
Prerequisites
Make sure that you have the following permissions:

Resource Permissions : Binlog Service Maintenance permission -
Menu Permissions : Permission on theBinlog Cluster Overview menu of theBinlog Service

The binlog cluster to be stopped is in the
Running state.The binlog cluster to be started is in the
Stopped state.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click
Binlog Service . TheCluster List tab automatically appears.On the
Cluster List page, find the target binlog cluster and click its name.On the
Binlog Cluster Overview tab, click theMore icon in the upper-right corner and selectStop Binlog Cluster .In the dialog box that appears, click
Stop .You can view the task progress in
Task Center . When the task status changes to ExecuteSuccessful and the status of the cluster changes toStopped , the cluster is successfully stopped.Start the cluster.
After the cluster is stopped, you can click the
More icon in the upper-right corner on theBinlog Cluster Overview page and selectStart Binlog Cluster to start the cluster.
