This topic describes how to apply for project permissions.
Procedure
Log in to Web ODC and click Tickets in the left-side navigation pane of the project collaboration window.
Click Create Ticket > Project Permission Application.
In the Project Permission Application dialog box, specify the following information:
ParameterDescriptionProject The project to which the database permission belongs. After the permission is applied, you can manage the permission in the project. Role The role of the project. Different roles have different permissions. - DBA: You can view and manage all tickets in the project and manage all permissions in the project except for member management, message configuration, and project settings.
- Developer: You can log in to the database, execute SQL statements, submit tickets, and view and manage all tickets in the project.
- Manager: You can view and manage all tickets in the project.
- Participant: You can view basic project information, view all tickets in the project, and manage tickets initiated by yourself. By default, you have no database permissions in the project. You can apply for database permissions and submit tickets.
- Security Administrator: You can manage sensitive columns in addition to the permissions of a participant.
Reason for Application The reason for applying for the permission. Click Create to submit the ticket.
On the Project Permission Application page, click View in the Actions column to view the Basic Information, Task Progress, and Logs of the target ticket.
After the ticket is approved, the permissions take effect, and you can perform the corresponding project management operations.
