Before upgrading OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP), you must take it over in OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT).
Prerequisites
Before you take over OCP, make sure that the following conditions are met:
You have installed OAT. For more information, see Install OAT.
You have added the Docker image used by OCP to OAT.
OAT has taken over the components on which OCP depends.
You have added the server for taking over OCP to OAT. For more information, see Add a server.
The server meets the requirements for taking over OCP. For more information, see OCP resource planning.
Procedure
Log on to the OAT console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Product Service > Products.
On the Product Management page, click Take Over Product in the upper-right corner and select Take Over OCP from the menu.

On the Take Over OCP page, set the related parameters.
Set the basic parameters, as shown in the following table.
Parameter Description OCP Image The Docker image of OCP. Product Name The name of the product, which must be unique. Server The IP address of the server to take over OCP. CPU The number of CPU cores on the server available for OCP. Default value: 8. Memory The available memory for OCP on the server. The default value is 20, in GB. 
Set the MetaDB parameters, as shown in the following table.
Parameter Description MetaDB Type Select the type of the MetaDB to use. Valid values: MetaDB Created and Other OB_MySQL. Select Created MetaDB Select a created MetaDB for OCP. 
Set the load balancing parameters, which are optional, as shown in the following table.
Parameter Description Load Balancing Mode The load balancing mode. Valid values: Created NLB, OBDNS created, Other Load Balancing, and Do not use. MetaDB TCP Proxy IP The TCP address for connecting to the MetaDB. This parameter is displayed when the load balancing mode is set to Other Load Balancing. MetaDB TCP Proxy Port The TCP port number for connecting to the MetaDB. This parameter is displayed when the load balancing mode is set to Other Load Balancing. HTTP Proxy Domain Name The HTTP address for accessing the OCP console. This parameter is displayed when the load balancing mode is set to OBDNS created. HTTP Proxy Port The HTTP port number. 
After the configuration for taking over OCP is completed, click
Submit . For any errors in the configuration, clickReset to restore the default configuration.
