OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) allows you to predefine a dashboard to display monitoring metrics of concern on the same page. Each dashboard is a tab. You can classify monitoring charts by dashboard.
Prerequisites

Resource Permissions : Cluster Read-only, Tenant Read-only, OBProxy Read-only, Arbitration Service Read-only, Binlog Service Read-only, or Host Read-only permission -
Menu Permissions : Permission on theAll menu of theMonitoring Dashboard

- Dashboards created by different users are mutually isolated. You can view and manage only your own monitoring dashboards.
Procedure
Create a dashboard
Before you add monitoring charts, perform the following steps to create a dashboard:
Log in to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboards.
Click
Create Dashboard or the
icon in the upper-right corner.In the dialog box that appears, enter the name of the dashboard and click
OK .The dashboard name must be unique and 2 to 64 characters in length.
Import a dashboard
To avoid repeated configurations, you can perform the following steps to import a local dashboard configuration file:
Log in to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboards.
On the page that appears, click Import in the upper-right corner.
In the dialog box that appears, click Select File, and upload the dashboard configuration file in the JSON format.
Click OK.
Notice
You can import only JSON files of OCP dashboards.
Export a dashboard
OCP allows you to export OCP dashboards and Grafana dashboards. After a dashboard is exported, OCP saves a JSON file in your local storage. You can use the file in another OCP or on other monitoring platforms. To export a dashboard, perform the following steps:
Log in to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Dashboards.
On the page that appears, click Export in the upper-right corner, and select the dashboard type.
In the dialog box that appears, select the name of the dashboard that you want to export.
Click OK.
Related operations
OCP allows you to perform the following O&M operations on dashboards:
Switch between dashboards: All dashboards are displayed as tabs. You can click the name of a dashboard to switch to the dashboard.
Sort dashboards: You can drag the name of a dashboard leftwards or rightwards to adjust its position.
Rename a dashboard: You can click
Change Name (as indicated by ① in the following figure) on the tab of a dashboard to rename the dashboard.Delete a dashboard: You can click
Delete Dashboard (as indicated by ② in the following figure) on the tab of a dashboard to delete the dashboard.Notice
A deleted dashboard cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
Refresh a dashboard: You can click
Refresh (as indicated by ③ in the following figure) on the tab of a dashboard to refresh the dashboard immediately or configure an automatic refresh frequency for the dashboard. After you configure automatic refresh for a dashboard, the dashboard automatically refreshes the monitoring data based on the specified frequency. This way, you can view the latest monitoring data in the charts on the dashboard. Supported refresh frequencies are 5 seconds, 10 seconds, and 30 seconds. By default, automatic refresh is in the Off state.View monitoring data in a specific time range: You can specify a time range at the position indicated by ④ in the following figure to view the monitoring data within the specified time range on the dashboard.
Associate charts: You can click
Associate Charts (as indicated by ⑤ in the following figure) to enable chart association and hover the pointer over a point in time of a chart. Then, other charts on the same dashboard will display the data at the same point in time on the lateral axis. You can compare the monitoring data of different metrics.Note
At present, you can associate only line charts and area charts.
Adjust the layout of charts: You can click the
Chart Layout drop-down list (as indicated by ⑥ in the following figure) and set the number of monitoring metric trend charts displayed in each line. You can choose to display one, two, three, or four charts in each line. By default, two monitoring metric trend charts are displayed in each line.
