This topic provides information on managing data sources.
Background information
After a project administrator adds a project member, the project member can create data sources, add databases to the data sources for the project, and perform database change tasks.

The system administrator creates a project in web ODC and adds members to the project.
The system administrator grants project members the permissions to manage and edit data sources.
The project DBA and owner add the database in the data source to the project.
A member creates a database change task.
When a project member initiates a task order, the approval process will be automatically matched based on the risk level and identification rules.
Approval role approval task process corresponding to the approval process node.
After approval is passed, the database change task is executed.
Manage data sources
You can view, edit, and remove data sources in the data source list.
View data sources

In the data source list, you can click the following buttons and icons to view the related information or perform the desired operations.

Edit a data source
Click Edit in the Actions column for the target data source. The Edit Connection panel appears, which is similar to the New Data Source panel, showing the configuration information of the current data source. You can modify the data source information in the Edit Data Source panel.
Before you change Database Password, you must first click Change Password next to the password field. If you want to cancel the modification, click Cancel next to the password field.
Copy a data source
In the lower-right corner of the Edit Data Source panel, click Copy Connection String.
In the New Data Source panel, paste the connection string to the Intelligent Parsing field. Then, ODC parses the configuration information of the current data source and automatically fills in the corresponding fields.
Remove a data source
If a connected database no longer exists or you no longer need to access a database, you can remove the connection information of the database.
Click Remove in the Actions column to delete the connection configuration.
