The GET_VALUE function obtains a value from the running program.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Database Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Database Community Edition provides only the MySQL mode.
Syntax
DBMS_DEBUG.GET_VALUE (
variable_name IN VARCHAR2,
frame# IN BINARY_INTEGER,
scalar_value OUT VARCHAR2,
format IN VARCHAR2 := NULL)
RETURN BINARY_INTEGER;
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |

| variable_name | The name of the variable or parameter. |
| frame# | The frame in which the variable or parameter is located. 0 indicates the current subprogram. |
| scalar_value | The value. |
| format | The available date format. Note: The current version does not support this parameter. |
Return values

| success | The operation was successful. |
| error_bogus_frame | The specified frame does not exist. |
| error_no_debug_info | The entrypoint does not have debug information. |
| error_no_such_object | variable_name does not exist in frame#. |
| error_unknown_type | Cannot identify the type information in the debug information. |
| error_nullvalue | The value is NULL. |
| error_indexed_table | The object is a table but no index is provided. |
