You can set alert subscription on OCP after the alert channel is configured.
Background
You can receive alert notifications only when the following two conditions are met:
The administrator has configured an alert channel.
You have subscribed to an alert.
To send alert notifications from OCP, perform the following steps:
Configure an alert channel. The administrator configures the alert channel.
Create a new subscription. You can configure the subscriptions.
Configure the settings for receiving notifications. You can configure whether to receive notifications and the reception limits.
The operation interface of OCP may vary with the version. The following describes how to use TopSQL and SlowSQL to facilitate troubleshooting on OCP V2.4.4. For operations on OCP of other versions, see the OCP User Guide of the corresponding version.
View alert subscriptions
Log on to the OCP console. Click the user avatar in the upper-right corner of the page, and select Alert Subscription from the drop-down list. On the Subscriptions tab, you can filter the alerts by Source and Cluster .

Notice
You can only select a cluster that you have the read permission when you configure an alert subscription. If the read permission on the cluster is revoked after the alert subscription is configured, the user cannot receive alert messages for the cluster even if the alert subscription configuration is still effective.

Click the user avatar in the upper-right corner of the page, and select Alert Subscription from the drop-down list.
Click Create Subscription .
Click the OB or Application tab based on your business needs and select the specific OceanBase cluster or application.
Specify Alert Item Group .
Set Alert Method . Set the alert channel for alerts of each alert level.
You can configure multiple channels for each level at the same time and you must configure channels for at least one alert level.

Click OK .
After the alert subscription is configured, you can view the details of, edit, or delete the subscription on the Subscriptions tab.

Configure the settings for receiving notifications
You can configure the settings for receiving notifications.
You will also receive fault recovery notifications for alerts that you have subscribed to. Fault recovery notifications cannot be aggregated. To avoid receiving too many such notifications, we recommend that you disable fault recovery notifications.
